What BOOKS are YOU reading?

Books have always been a major part of my life. Reading was instilled in my siblings and I at an early stage and this emergence into pages of novels, biographies and fairytales has brought us personal success. I have a perfect example of this in my own sibling: my beloved older sister Vimbayi. It not the obvious successes like  being the first African and women to anchor Asia's largest news network: CCTV (CONNECT WITH CCTV HERE) or being a member of an elite network of current and future world changers in the World Economic Formu's Young Global Leaders (CONNECT WITH THE YGL'S HERE ). NO, it is more than that. It has been privileged to have watched a women define herself, question conventional thinking, overcome demons and ultimately emerge. So what books am I reading? Good Question. Im dabbling in a few at the moment. The first is Thomas Fredman's Hot, Flat and Crowded which focuses on the nonsensical misuse of resources and how this misuse will affect our future; especially if we, as a collective humanity are not proactive. 

Thomas writes from the head and heart. He is authentic and challenges you to 'keep up' with his thought process. It is in this 'forcing you to think' that his words make sense. (FOLLOW THOMAS HERE). 

Next, I spend my mornings in Tibet, with my guru the Dali Lama. In his book, The Universe in a Single Atom: The Convergence of Science and Spirituality, His Holiness seamlessly marries two dominant, often opposing perspectives; and states of being into holy matrimony. A perfect read after my morning meditation. (CONNECT WITH HIS HOLINESS HERE). 

Next on my list is a book I actually already finished a few weeks ago, but it was so relevant that its message has stayed with me until now, and probably will for the rest of my life. If you ask me, that is a sign of a good read! This book can best be described by its very title: Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert (ACCESS HER HERE). In these pages I journeyed within to discover and more importantly share my own personal magic. The biggest reveal: ALL OF US CAN TAP INTO IT!
